Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carl-Chester Vallgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 6th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl-Chester Vallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Olov Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. VBL Stockholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Johnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Olov Johnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Carl-Chester Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Carl-Chester Vallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Holmstedt hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Carl-Chester Vallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Torbjörn Grönlund was slow to take the kick. During this time VBL Stockholm's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on VBL Stockholm's corner Torbjörn Grönlund fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 37th minute, VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Olov Johnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Johnsson in the 40th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olov Johnsson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, VBL Stockholm's Jan-Åke Kihlberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Carl-Chester Vallgren in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, VBL Stockholm's goalkeeper Carl-Chester Vallgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Carl-Chester Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute. Camilo Gisbert made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luis Andino. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Carl-Chester Vallgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Zorita during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. VBL Stockholm's Olov Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montes during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 94th minute. Olov Johnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VBL Stockholm.
