When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in 16 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Venancio Isidor guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 20th minute, Jacinto Lehoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venancio Isidor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 29 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Apolo Lizer made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. The Anga FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-5.
