The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amerigo Pugliese to strike the kick off in the second half. Ennio Bosso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, ternana calcio fc's Alvaro Cara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The supporters of ternana calcio fc booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. But to his dismay, Amerigo Pugliese quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Anfilogino Pasquino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Alvaro Cara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Alvaro Cara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
