Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paco Everett kicked off to start the match. 8 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Sebastian Villa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Boroondara Milan's Bath Boyce did a great save. 14 minutes into the game, Paco Everett cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bath Boyce was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Boroondara Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Bath Boyce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bath Boyce. Paco Everett struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boroondara Milan. Ned Mills hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bath Boyce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benny Atkin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Kris Pearse got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Kris Pearse got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bath Boyce came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Moises Tafalla. But to his dismay, Moises Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 65th match minute, Boroondara Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drake Sobczak to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Kris Pearse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Kris Pearse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Sperling scored 4-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arty Shearn kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Kris Pearse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Honduras's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Honduras may have spent more time on the ball, but Boroondara Milan were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
