Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Abelardo Brais got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Sendoa was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Refugio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Brais in the 13th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Abelardo Brais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Alfonso Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Refugio came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melquiades Sendoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 44 minutes of play, Honduras's Moises Tafalla made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Lanegan FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Refugio made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Lanegan FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Sendoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Abelardo Brais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Narciso Millrick fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanegan FC's protests and gave Narciso Millrick a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Millrick kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Espinar to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes, Jonathan Curcio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanegan FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lanegan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Sendoa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 78th minute of play forced Lanegan FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Melquiades Sendoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Haroldo Matthew kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Melquiades Sendoa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Melquiades Sendoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The Lanegan FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
