Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Esteco booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A hard shot by Patricio Costa from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Samuel Claude shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 37 played minutes Esteco got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Szpakowski. In the 39th minute Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Esteco's Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteco's Samuel Claude got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto-Osvaldo Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Esteco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esteco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
