USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. Arcadio Buendia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arcadio Buendia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 9th minute of play. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Goretzka in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 22nd minute of play forced Alzaga FC's goalkeeper Arcadio Buendia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arcadio Buendia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Arcadio Buendia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 25th minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Garrincha came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alzaga FC's Arcadio Buendia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 53rd minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mané Garrincha, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Arcadio Buendia made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edward Mcdonald hit a great ball. Alzaga FC made a substitution. Emanuel Oliverio replaced Mané Garrincha. Alzaga FC's Jose Murillo was substituted for Leon Goretzka. Edward Mcdonald kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Murillo in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Alzaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ziya Onur Ulutan to maneuver through the defense. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Ziya Onur Ulutan hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jose Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Gabino Jauregui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tesone in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ziya Onur Ulutan was slow to take the kick. During this time Alzaga FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 87th minute, Jose Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 90 minutes of play, Alzaga FC's Emanuel Oliverio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Murillo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. When Alzaga FC's Emanuel Oliverio in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Many of USA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. USA may have spent more time on the ball, but Alzaga FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
