Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Leonides Rosio made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd of the match, Edward Mcdonald tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lester Serre got in the way and made a wonderful save. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Jenson Smith got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lester Serre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo de Sarandi defense, Monty Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lester Serre. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lester Serre should have stopped the shot. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Leonides Rosio took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lester Serre made a huge save. Leonides Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lester Serre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cassius Byrne who took care of the corner kick. The corner led USA's Cassius Byrne to fire away a dangerous shot which Lester Serre despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Elias Honrio hit a great ball. Lester Serre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Rogers in the 40th minute. With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cassius Byrne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of USA booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Mouricio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Ivan Errando replaced Venancio Piorno. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold was substituted for Elias Honrio. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Ceferino Cuervo was substituted for Leonides Rosio. Elias Honrio hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Sarandi getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vasco Olarticoechea hit a great ball. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Cuervo in the 65th minute of play. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Ivan Errando tried to sneak it across the goal line. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute, Jenson Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob May in the 90th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Jenson Smith fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lester Serre quite easily take care of the ball. When USA's Marco Baker in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. Prospero Mergildo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute USA were awarded a corner.
