Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes in the game, Flavius Huțupan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Octavian Petcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute Iustin Dudău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Petcu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head.
