In the 11th minute, Luca Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 14th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Torreoncito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Qi Guo Yue despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Alberto Tafalla kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Torreoncito's keeper Qi Guo Yue was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 18th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Faine in the 21st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Bünzli in the 23rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elodio Faine in the 28th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Rufino Narea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Torreoncito from getting a goal against them. Torreoncito's Qi Guo Yue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play. Luca Zorita struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Qi Guo Yue didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elodio Faine to strike the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Abelado Masson sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Torreoncito's Pedro Olguín was substituted for Lucas Bünzli. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elodio Faine got free with Dante Lacasa in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rufino Narea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Qi Guo Yue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torreoncito's Jeremías Basabilvaso was substituted for Abelado Masson. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Torreoncito's Jeremías Basabilvaso. But to his dismay, Jeremías Basabilvaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 79 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elodio Faine. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Qi Guo Yue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Torreoncito's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Qi Guo Yue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elodio Faine. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
