Botond Détári was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aladár Takács's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Botond Détári didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 17thth minute of the game Árpád Kardos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Olad's Botond Détári was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Botond Détári showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aladár Takács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. If Árpád Kardos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aladár Takács in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aladár Takács to strike the kick off in the second half. Aladár Takács struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Olad. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aladár Takács in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Olad were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. András Győrfi took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Olad's corner András Győrfi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Botond Détári in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aladár Takács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Olad's János Bán was substituted for Zsolt Kaszás. 69 minutes into the game, FC Olad's Aladár Takács nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 80thth minute of the game Aladár Takács who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Botond Détári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after FC Olad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 85th match minute, FC Olad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by István Angyal to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Botond Détári in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Aladár Takács's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 91 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aladár Takács in the 94th minute of play. After 95 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the FC Olad players grew even worse after the yellow card.
