When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s goalkeeper Tino Kremmers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tino Kremmers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Tino Kremmers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 55 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Tino Kremmers managed to make a qualified save. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s players were relieved. After having played for 57 minutes, Doctor Kabini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Doctor Kabini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Thorsten Borak hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tino Kremmers having to interfere. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Eusebius Aebischer was substituted for Sven Krug. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Bernhard Weber was substituted for Roar Freuler. Tino Kremmers made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Felix Montenegro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tino Kremmers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 67th match minute, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Weber to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 70 minutes, Eusebius Aebischer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebius Aebischer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tino Kremmers made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tino Kremmers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a little luck, ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™'s Tino Kremmers got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 minutes, Kay Schellander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ᴷᴬᴮᴵᴺᴵsTOP⑪™ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kay Schellander kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Tino Kremmers made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Lauterwasser in the 91st minute of play.
