The Palace Punisher
Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Guga Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 6 played minutes The Punisher got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Flocco. In the 8th minute, Michail Bakunin made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edgar Miodek received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Miodek slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. In the 17th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Miodek took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Miodek in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Edgar Miodek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Punisher's Edgar Miodek got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Punisher's Ke Kun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to The Punisher getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Valdir Martins hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Guto Leite put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, The Punisher's Filippo Flocco got a free kick in the 45th minute. Ke Kun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michail Bakunin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michail Bakunin in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ke Kun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Punisher's Michail Bakunin got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Michail Bakunin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michail Bakunin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Punisher's Ke Kun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The Punisher from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute of the match The Punisher got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adriano Seabra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Guga Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Punisher's Ke Kun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save The Punisher from getting a goal against them. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ke Kun having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, The Punisher's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ke Kun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michail Bakunin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Seabra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ke Kun having to make a save. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ke Kun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Guga Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 96th minute Guga Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that The Punisher were the better team. The Punisher's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
