Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Isac Vilela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Isac Vilela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes USC Paredes Harammes SS got a freekick which was hit by Martin Jandera. USC Paredes Harammes SS's Isac Vilela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save USC Paredes Harammes SS from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Brito to make the kick off.
