Colombia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Nirosxn 08 the free kick. Pedro Manzanares acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Laurențiu Todericiu. In the 6th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. Laurențiu Todericiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionică Savu. A collision led to AFC Nirosxn 08 getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Robert Acalinei hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Axel Montenegro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mugurel Slătineanu skillfully saved the ball. Emil Atanasiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionică Savu in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Jönsätt in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Acalinei who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AFC Nirosxn 08's Robert Acalinei to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 30th minute of play forced AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Atanasiu in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Ionică Savu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Manzanares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Santino Seco fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Santino Seco a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionică Savu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If David Jönsätt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AFC Nirosxn 08's attack was well implemented in the 56th minute, but when Ionică Savu was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Doru Şelaru helped the player get up and apologised. After 92 played minutes AFC Nirosxn 08 got a freekick which was hit by Doru Şelaru.
