Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 43rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMAS's Anibal Jurgi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Erasmo Mogel could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

PLUMAS's Bartolo Berart was substituted for Patrick Linares. In the 53rd match minute, PLUMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Blai to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Berart took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 82 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Berart came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Berart scored 6-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Benvido came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Berart in the 95th minute of play.
