If Isidoro Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El ABUELO FC's Rodolfo Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Brion in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Isidoro Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El ABUELO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Azevedo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Elias saved Club Atletico Magaiba from getting behind. In the 14th minute of the match El ABUELO FC got a corner. Club Atletico Magaiba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celestino Fix ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felipe Elias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Txurio in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Club Atletico Magaiba got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Bernal. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Isidoro Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ABUELO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Elias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Elias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Atletico Magaiba's Felipe Elias got control of the ball when Sergio Txurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. El ABUELO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celestino Fix in the 22nd minute. Isidoro Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Isidoro Azevedo put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Elias. With an all-out effort, El ABUELO FC's Felipe Elias threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Isidoro Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Felipe Elias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Txurio in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Magaiba's goalkeeper Felipe Elias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Azevedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Frutos in the 34th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute of the game, Victoriano Bernal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Club Atletico Magaiba's Gaspar Naelio was substituted for Victoriano Bernal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Azevedo made a kick off. After 53 minutes of play, El ABUELO FC's Isidoro Azevedo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Elias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Brion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Brion in the 68th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Bertassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Isidoro Azevedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Elias was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Felipe Elias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80thth minute of the game Isidoro Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Magaiba's Felipe Elias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Magaiba's goalkeeper Felipe Elias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Txurio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Elias was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Azevedo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Elias saved Club Atletico Magaiba from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, El ABUELO FC could leave the field as winners, despite Club Atletico Magaiba having more of the ball for most of the match.
