Merengue FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Moises Hodei ran over to the corner to take the kick. Darwin Núñez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erubiel Frans firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Michelini came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 played minutes Merengue FC got a freekick which was hit by Darwin Núñez. Mateo Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Haritz in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Merengue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Haritz came free, but Mateo Llorienzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Llorienzo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Haritz went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Erubiel Frans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Domingo Jago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Frans. That made the score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Erubiel Frans was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Aquiles Urtsin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aquiles Urtsin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Urtsin to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferdinando Michelini got free with Mateo Llorienzo in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darwin Núñez in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Frans saved CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Frances came free, but Erubiel Frans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Hodei got free with Mateo Llorienzo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ defense, Aquiles Urtsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Frans. The CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Frans should have stopped the shot. Erubiel Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darwin Núñez in the 68th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Merengue FC's Darwin Núñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erubiel Frans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Sixto Lucian was substituted for Ermegildo Haritz. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Rolando Shepherd was substituted for Santos Jaume. After a rather tough play, Merengue FC's Aquiles Urtsin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Moises Hodei scored 5-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateo Llorienzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the game, Moises Hodei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merengue FC the free kick. Moises Hodei hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
