Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Joel Gaona made the kick off which started today's match. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodovico Javia, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Jakue Cameno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavier Wagner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Nuno got free with Dante Lacasa in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute of the match Fire Breathers FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celso Eate ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Teodovico Javia managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Fire Breathers FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Alberto Tafalla drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper. Zavier Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zavier Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of play. Zavier Wagner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodovico Javia was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fire Breathers FC's goalkeeper Zavier Wagner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After 54 minutes, Txurio Cardigondi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Breathers FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fire Breathers FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Txurio Cardigondi hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zavier Wagner. The goal made the score 0-2. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txurio Cardigondi's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Zavier Wagner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fire Breathers FC.
