In the 9th minute, Orlando Casaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ola Wall. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. NIKE Academy's Ola Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoforos Manousopoulos in the 24th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kader Gonet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. NIKE Academy's Ola Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christoforos Manousopoulos in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Mühren was slow to take the kick. During this time NIKE Academy's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Kader Gonet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Kader Gonet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ola Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Lu Lin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Robert Mühren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

NIKE Academy made a substitution. Oskar Lägdin replaced Robert Mühren. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Lägdin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskar Lägdin in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ola Wall in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Lägdin in the 72nd minute of the match. NIKE Academy's Blagojče Michalashvili was substituted for Marcus-Vinícius Franceschini. 79 minutes into the match, NIKE Academy's goalkeeper Ola Wall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 80th match minute, NIKE Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Carbonaro to maneuver through the defense. NIKE Academy's Oleg Mamaev was substituted for Kader Gonet. NIKE Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oskar Lägdin in the 86th minute. A nice corner shot did that Oskar Lägdin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mariano Lacasa in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ola Wall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
