Soriano Espiñeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soriano Espiñeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 14th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Navalito's Nicanor Parra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Soriano Espiñeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Soriano Espiñeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Carballar in the 43rd minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Ignacio Portusagasti kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Isidoro Young made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Parra in the 57th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Navalito's Isidoro Young in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Mariano Lacasa put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Soriano Espiñeira. In the 74th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Navalito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Isidoro Young received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Soriano Espiñeira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Navalito's Soriano Espiñeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Navalito from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Soriano Espiñeira to make any attempt to save it. Eros Villamayor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. The Navalito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
