Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Roland Lindström made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Torsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matthias Ekegren in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When Matthias Ekegren came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Juoksengi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthias Ekegren couldn't finish the play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Odén in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Odén in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes of play, Juoksengi's Matthias Ekegren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute Martin Odén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Ekegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Billy Torsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Torsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Odén made the kick off in the second half. When Juoksengi's Martin Odén in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Matthias Ekegren took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Odén. 62 minutes into the match, Matthias Ekegren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-4. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Juoksengi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Ekegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Lindström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Matthias Ekegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Matthias Ekegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Matthias Ekegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Matthias Ekegren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Matthias Ekegren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Roland Lindström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 86th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. After having played for 90 minutes, Matthias Ekegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juoksengi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Ekegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Matthias Ekegren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-7. Juoksengi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
