Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Fabian Urdaspal got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabian Urdaspal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s corner Zeledon Rumaldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute, Oso Ted left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Apat Machado in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. After 19 minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Axel Montenegro who took care of the corner kick. Axel Montenegro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Armando Basajaun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apat Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Urdaspal in the 35th minute of the match. The throw-in from Apat Machado in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Honorio Hever with Jaime Xavier as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Armando Basajaun was a little too slow when Santino Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Urdaspal was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Fabian Urdaspal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Urdaspal in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 67th minute, when Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Oso Ted after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Pedro Manzanares in Colombia's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Teofilo Maidana was substituted for Fabian Urdaspal. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Benigno Oliviero was substituted for Honorio Hever. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Teofilo Maidana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Teofilo Maidana took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. Samuel Navarro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 98 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares had in the 101stth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Xavier's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Colombia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
