Francisco-Javier Campo kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Agustin Dantae with Arnoldo Karmel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Arnoldo Karmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Karmel. Dave Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arnoldo Karmel sent off a good shot on target. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Delmiro Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of the match. Dave Basso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. After 74 minutes of play, C.A Huracan's Nestor Ondino made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Nestor Ondino came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the C.A Huracan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Ondino couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Machado couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. C.A Huracan had played much better football throughout.
