With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Basajaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Moises Gayoso drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goalkeeper. Teofilo Maidana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Maidana in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 18 minutes Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Luz Tejedor made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Maidana, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Teofilo Maidana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Cartero de Agronomia F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Armando Basajaun in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Armando Basajaun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cartero de Agronomia F.C. from getting a goal against them. David Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cartero de Agronomia F.C..
