Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cavallino Rampante II's Ivo Oja started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 3 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ernesto Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ernesto Fe quite easily take care of the ball. Ernesto Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cavallino Rampante II's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ernesto Fe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Cavallino Rampante II booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes Cavallino Rampante II's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Ivo Oja's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ernesto Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 27th minute. Candido Garin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Candido Garin. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Gonzales blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute. Jonas Olivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernesto Fe was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 40th match minute, Cavallino Rampante II was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Filipo to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Fe. Cavallino Rampante II's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ernesto Fe in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavallino Rampante II's Ernesto Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Ubaldo Gonzales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cavallino Rampante II's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Gonzales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cavallino Rampante II's Cornelio Dubardo was substituted for Manuel Ioritz. Juan Sebastián Puig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ernesto Fe made a huge save. Cleto Polentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cavallino Rampante II defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Fe. The Cavallino Rampante II fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Fe should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Cavallino Rampante II's goalkeeper Ernesto Fe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ernesto Fe came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Fabian Jarosiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Jarosiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cavallino Rampante II getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fabian Jarosiewicz hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Fe having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
