In the 13th minute, Denizhan Ünüvar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. When En avant de guingamp's Ni Jun Liang in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Antônio Carlos Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Jun Liang in the 28th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shi Guo Wen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Shi Guo Wen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes, Ni Jun Liang made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Ni Jun Liang took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 57th minute, En avant de guingamp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Almeida came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Shi Guo Wen. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The En avant de guingamp fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when En avant de guingamp's Ni Jun Liang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antônio Carlos Almeida's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 82nd minute of the match. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. When Pan Xiang Kuan came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the En avant de guingamp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pan Xiang Kuan couldn't finish the play. Nebi Özker kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ni Jun Liang in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match En avant de guingamp got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pan Xiang Kuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Pan Xiang Kuan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for En avant de guingamp.
