Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Erlend Sørby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leeton United FC's Brookes Crane was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 29th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erlend Sørby having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paz Gledden in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erlend Sørby. Erlend Sørby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Leeton United FC's Gregory Krause got a free kick in the 40th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. When Xulian Cai fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeton United FC's protests and gave Xulian Cai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, Leeton United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xulian Cai to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Leeton United FC's Paz Gledden in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Paz Gledden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 60 played minutes Ecuador's Daniel Zorita stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Erlend Sørby stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Leeton United FC of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clay Heath in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paz Gledden in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paz Gledden went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Erlend Sørby made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brookes Crane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes, Leeton United FC's Gregory Krause shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leeton United FC reached it. In the 95th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Leeton United FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
