FC Draconia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. FC Draconia's Gorbea Castejana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 23rd minute of the game. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Joshua Garrido hit a great ball. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Van der Poorten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FC Draconia's Adrià Vassaras getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Benny Hill sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benny Van der Poorten was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Draconia's players had a chance to rest. FC Draconia's Benny Van der Poorten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The long shot by Benny Van der Poorten in the 47th minute really tested Pedro Manzanares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 53 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Garrido. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Jerome Ngake when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to FC Draconia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Denis Serebryanikov hit a great ball. FC Draconia made a substitution. Gregoire Decorte replaced Benny Hill. FC Draconia's Robbin Dirickx was substituted for Joaquin Lekubegi. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. The supporters of Colombia booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Serebryanikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbin Dirickx in the 84th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
