Franck Kilburg's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franck Kilburg helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes FC Maliğin Adamları got a freekick which was hit by Franck Kilburg. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Edmundo Espiga sped through FC Maliğin Adamları's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robustiano Mitxel. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Espinar during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half Honduras were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mazhar Falcıoğlu made a kick off. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Reynaldo Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Vincent Schlim fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Maliğin Adamları's protests and gave Vincent Schlim a yellow card for diving instead. Robustiano Mitxel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Xavier Costa sent off a good shot on target. FC Maliğin Adamları's Robustiano Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 75th minute of play. Christian Sancho's late challenge caught a FC Maliğin Adamları's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Xavier Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Mitxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luca Espinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xavier Costa in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Robustiano Mitxel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Xavier Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Robustiano Mitxel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Moises Tafalla. When Valentín Carvallo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Valentín Carvallo a yellow card for diving instead. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
