But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ivan Navarro got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sebastian Villa. After some careless play in the West Staines Massive defense, Luca Espinar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Siegmund Nickel. The West Staines Massive fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siegmund Nickel should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Siegmund Nickel was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Siegmund Nickel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, West Staines Massive's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Siegmund Nickel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
