Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guaberto Otoniel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Irinel Aldea shot from long distance in the 3rd minute, but Julio Vera was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavino Mendez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Gavino Mendez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gavino Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. Gavino Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gavino Mendez quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of El CUERVO perfeto's Gavino Mendez. Gavino Mendez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gavino Mendez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Mendez. El CUERVO perfeto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gavino Mendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Otoniel got free with Julio Vera in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavino Mendez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, El CUERVO perfeto's goalkeeper Gavino Mendez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Juan Sebastián Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gavino Mendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gavino Mendez. El CUERVO perfeto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Otoniel in the 68th minute of the match. El CUERVO perfeto were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Irinel Aldea took the corner. The corner led El CUERVO perfeto's Filiberto Gaitano to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. El CUERVO perfeto's Gavino Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Mendez saved El CUERVO perfeto from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, El CUERVO perfeto's Gavino Mendez got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
