The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Spoelbergs got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, 강 비 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ernest Spoelbergs sent off a good shot on target. Ernest Spoelbergs in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ernest Spoelbergs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mai Hontoria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mai Hontoria struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bucaneiros. The Bucaneiros fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Bucaneiros's Ernest Spoelbergs looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Hontoria in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Bucaneiros's Ernest Spoelbergs made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Bucaneiros's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mai Hontoria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Ernest Spoelbergs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After 60 minutes of play, Bucaneiros's Mario Kempes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartosz Skikiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Bucaneiros's Ahmet Reha Zeren. But to his dismay, Ahmet Reha Zeren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. After 73 minutes of play, Bucaneiros's Ernest Spoelbergs made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 강 비 kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Bartosz Skikiewicz made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Spoelbergs in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Laércio Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Mario Kempes scored 7-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Spoelbergs, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bucaneiros walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
