Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Kazatzis in the 53rd minute of the match. Giannis Kazatzis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AEK Lamia club's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Kassianidis came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Viktoras Mavrakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK Lamia club's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktoras Mavrakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to AEK Lamia club getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Manolis Karaiskakis hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Giannis Kassianidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes AEK Lamia club got a freekick which was hit by Adamantios Kabitsis. Orestis Malioufas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Kassianidis skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giannis Kassianidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
