If Haldun Onay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Ivan Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bahadır Doğanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Prats's late challenge caught a Bursalona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Prats helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ivan Prats hit a great ball. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Haldun Onay went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şimşek Tur went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Haldun Onay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. Primitivo Escribano's late challenge caught a Bursalona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Escribano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bursalona booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Onay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haldun Onay in the 57th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Prats kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Mikail Arabacı kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot by Primitivo Escribano from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Bahadır Doğanay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Haldun Onay kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Murathan İcabi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bursalona. Bursalona's attack was well implemented in the 71st minute, but when Haldun Onay was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 73rd minute Enver Özdeğer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bursalona the free kick. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haldun Onay in the 74th minute of the match. Murathan İcabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şimşek Tur made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Paraguay's Ivan Prats. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murathan İcabi went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bursalona were victorious despite being under pressure from Paraguay for much of the match.
