Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sitges's Mauricio Salazar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Curro Climent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 4th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sitges's Josep Vila got a free kick in the 11th minute. Baldemar Folch struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sitges. In the 18th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curro Climent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sitges's Curro Climent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldemar Folch in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 29th minute of play forced Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenz De Paula in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Lorenz De Paula kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sitges's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Curro Climent made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nabucodonosor Llorente made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mauricio Salazar immediately put the ball in play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Curro Climent prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the game, Kevin Johnson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Kevin Johnson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 58 played minutes Sitges got a freekick which was hit by Baldemar Folch. With a little luck, Sitges's Curro Climent got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Luz Tejedor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62ndth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sitges's Curro Climent was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes Sitges got a freekick which was hit by Josep Vila. 75 minutes into the match, Sitges's goalkeeper Curro Climent had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Curro Climent made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. One of Peru:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sitges:s goal. 83 minutes into the match, Kevin Johnson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Johnson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curro Climent having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nabucodonosor Llorente, made in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Curro Climent was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldemar Folch scored 4-3 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sitges's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
