A nice corner shot did that Mariano Lacasa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Christoffer Modig quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Carballar in the 68th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Jonasson in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Ingemar Jonasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hugo Hellgren got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leo Nykvist. After a defensive mix-up in Oakcroft Thrashers's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christoffer Modig came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ákos Vincze kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Oakcroft Thrashers were furious when Benigno Jerrold was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oakcroft Thrashers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oakcroft Thrashers.
