Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. J.J J.J. started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Paco Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Paco Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paco Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, J.J J.J. notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.J J.J., who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Paco Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers J.J J.J. in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. J.J J.J. could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play forced GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after GALATASARAY O.Z.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. When Luis Andino fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Luis Andino a yellow card for diving instead. 48 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY O.Z. the free kick. 47 minutes into the game, one of Ecuador:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Julio Vera, was totally fooled by GALATASARAY O.Z.'s J.J J.J., who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game J.J J.J. who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GALATASARAY O.Z. were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ludomir Domin took the corner. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emrullah Toygun in the 60th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paco Zamora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Emrullah Toygun got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY O.Z. from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Gökçen Kulan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY O.Z. from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of GALATASARAY O.Z.'s Paco Zamora. The audience was convinced that J.J J.J.'s extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
