The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihail Pânzaru got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares stood somewhat misplaced when Mihail Pânzaru came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 11 minute. 17 minutes into the match, Pegaso's Mihail Pânzaru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Mihail Pânzaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Loren Prats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Jairo Valery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Tabor made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Amador Vachon immediately put the ball in play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Pânzaru in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Loren Prats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 37 minutes into the game, Delmar Tabor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pegaso's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pegaso's Delmar Tabor got a free kick in the 37th minute. Loren Prats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mihail Pânzaru to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Loren Prats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loren Prats saved Pegaso from getting behind. If Jairo Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Loren Prats managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 65 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Pegaso's Joaquin Havier was substituted for Mihail Pânzaru. After 68 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Tabor. In the 71st match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abram Secada to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jairo Valery who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Joaquin Havier drilling the ball in to score 3-2 behind Colombia's goalkeeper. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Havier in the 77th minute of play. Loren Prats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 79th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goalkeeper Loren Prats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Delmar Tabor kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Loren Prats made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Luis Cazalla hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Pegaso's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
