Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dariusz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Korneliusz Hodyl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Brzeszczak in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Piast Chęciny's Radowit Kluska got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute of the match Piast Chęciny got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dariusz Kucharski ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dariusz Kucharski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Piast Chęciny's Radowit Kluska. But to his dismay, Radowit Kluska quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kajetan Brzeszczak got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kajetan Brzeszczak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Korneliusz Hodyl to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Korneliusz Hodyl in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korneliusz Hodyl in the 53rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Piast Chęciny's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Dariusz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korneliusz Hodyl might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Korneliusz Hodyl ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kajetan Brzeszczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Kluska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute of the match Piast Chęciny got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dariusz Kucharski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Piast Chęciny's Dariusz Kucharski to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korneliusz Hodyl in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 90 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Kajetan Brzeszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Dariusz Kucharski, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
