Higinio Polo had in the 13thth minute some difficulties stopping Pascual Pomelin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Pascual Pomelin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Polo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Danial Boon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Higinio Polo made a huge save. In the 24th minute of the match, Alexandre Tepedino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Polo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danial Boon got free with Higinio Polo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the game, Danial Boon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Higinio Polo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in ZORZAL01's zone, Danial Boon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higinio Polo came out of the goal and Danial Boon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Higinio Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Boon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danial Boon in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Higinio Polo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danial Boon was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Julian Iratzeder in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Umea Sorzano.
