After having played for 6 minutes, Nazil Sağlamtürk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC KALELİ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nazil Sağlamtürk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Kai Schirmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Altino Vidal. After 12 played minutes FC KALELİ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nafiz Talayer. After 19 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Tol Adas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kai Schirmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes in the game, Servet Okaner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kai Schirmer having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nazil Sağlamtürk got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kai Schirmer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patric Bierhoff in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kai Schirmer saved FC Fura Balizas from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Vides during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute Antoni Camarasa managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. In the 43rd minute Patric Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
51 minutes into the game, FC KALELİ's Patric Bierhoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kai Schirmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Fura Balizas's Kai Schirmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servet Okaner in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Fura Balizas's Zeferino Corte-Real got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tol Adas charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tol Adas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 61 played minutes FC Fura Balizas got a freekick which was hit by Zeferino Corte-Real. After 69 played minutes FC KALELİ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nafiz Talayer. In the 72nd match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeferino Corte-Real to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Kevin Meira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Fura Balizas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC KALELİ the free kick. Kevin Meira hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Patric Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kai Schirmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute Servet Okaner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kai Schirmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th match minute, FC Fura Balizas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Freire to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Camarasa missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Kai Schirmer right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Patric Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KALELİ's supporters rose to their feet, but Patric Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai Schirmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The whistle blew for the end of the second half and the match was still tied. The players were able to take a short break before lining up again for extra-time.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Bierhoff got free with Kai Schirmer in the 108th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 110th minute, FC KALELİ's Patric Bierhoff dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC KALELİ fully deserved thier win.
