An unexpectedly hard shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 14th minute of play forced Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Haroldo Napier fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seed Town West's protests and gave Haroldo Napier a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Seed Town West got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Napier. 20 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç Sözen came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Klysnov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Mai Quan Peng ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Hernando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ciriaco Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aytaç Sözen in the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Otsoa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Klysnov saved Seed Town West from getting behind. Ciriaco Hernando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mai Quan Peng's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Haroldo Napier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciriaco Hernando was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Mai Quan Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Hernando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Mai Quan Peng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ciriaco Hernando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mai Quan Peng made the kick off in the second half. Arrigo Di Mattia made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Markus Albäck. In the 58th minute Markus Albäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Klysnov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Vänge IF got a corner. Seed Town West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Östen Olsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Seed Town West made a substitution. Dé Bille replaced Fillip Sivananda. 75 minutes into the game, Seed Town West's Mai Quan Peng nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciriaco Hernando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 78 minutes into the match, Mai Quan Peng dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ciriaco Hernando, 2-5. In the 81st minute, Seed Town West's Mai Quan Peng dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. In the 89th minute, Seed Town West's Dan Vøge dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. In the 95th minute, Mai Quan Peng reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ciriaco Hernando. The goal made the score 2-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Albäck in the 99th minute of play forced Seed Town West's goalkeeper Einar Klysnov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
