Despite this John Locke quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. SAN LORENZO FC's John Locke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 6th minute of play. MKS Mazur Ełk's attentive Garoa Ojesto managed to snatch the ball when Jorge Rinaldi made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Armando Dorigatti put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of John Locke. MKS Mazur Ełk's Garoa Ojesto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sergio Marchi in the 21 minute of the game. 24 minutes into the game, Zeru Mezquita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. In the 24th match minute, MKS Mazur Ełk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeru Mezquita to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Dorigatti was the one to do the kick off. Simon Eufrasio charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. John Locke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 88th minute, Armando Dorigatti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Armando Dorigatti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Locke. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Dorigatti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dorigatti in the 96th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MKS Mazur Ełk fully deserved thier win.
