The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vicente Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Silva in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Ayuntamiento CF's zone, Bernardo Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Berto came out of the goal and Bernardo Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Salvador Endura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Tobias Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfons Lövgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Errando in the 21st minute. 25 minutes into the game, Bahrtys Talanger's Bernardo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vicente Berto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Bernardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Vicente Berto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahrtys Talanger. The audience was convinced that Fabian Hermansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vicente Berto was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 played minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Noe. Bernardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Bernardo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Hermansson in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Vicente Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Silva came free, but Vicente Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Goyo shot from long distance in the 46th minute, but Alfons Lövgren was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabian Hermansson was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Silva took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Berto. Vicente Berto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Bernardo Silva struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Feliks Kosakowski replaced Ola Strömqvist. Real Ayuntamiento CF were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Bahrtys Talanger's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Goyo took the corner. After taking down the ball on Real Ayuntamiento CF's corner Salvador Endura fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfons Lövgren quite easily take care of the ball. Eloy Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alfons Lövgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Lövgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Errando in the 68th minute of the match. Bernardo Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Vicente Berto made a huge save. Tobias Deckberg hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Real Ayuntamiento CF got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Dominix. Vicente Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Hermansson in the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Salvador Endura sped through Bahrtys Talanger's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfons Lövgren. In the 90th minute Christian Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Berto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.

The Real Ayuntamiento CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bahrtys Talanger's performance. The match ended with a win for Bahrtys Talanger.
