Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cesaro Solano let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 6th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. Paulo Uria scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noé Villa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Marcos Fuente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rubite FC and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peru Aranzubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru Aranzubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesaro Solano, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the game, Cesaro Solano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Cesaro Solano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. After 46 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesaro Solano to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes, Rubite FC's Noé Villa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rubite FC reached it. In the 58th minute, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesaro Solano in the 62nd minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. After 63 played minutes, Rubite FC's Paulo Uria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rubite FC reached it. In the 67th minute, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peru Aranzubia. Peru Aranzubia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Uria in the 72nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Peru Aranzubia to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 91 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Cesaro Solano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesaro Solano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Rubite FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
