In the 6th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after KFC Vliegplein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davy Van Emelen during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davy Van Emelen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Davy Van Emelen was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to KFC Vliegplein getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Davy Van Emelen hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Uruguay's Francisco Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when William Eekhout made the kick off in the second half. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Uruguay's Francisco Seco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathias-Alexander Terhorst. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias-Alexander Terhorst having to interfere. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Van den Bergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias-Alexander Terhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, William Eekhout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Eekhout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Escribano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. In the 95th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mathias-Alexander Terhorst was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9.
