Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dainius Bagdonas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dainius Bagdonas scored 1-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Tomas Berganza tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Dainius Bagdonas came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alex Cambeiro hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Semail Özbir got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 30th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tomas Berganza made a precise shot to the right of Yusuf Stegen. San Diego FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dainius Bagdonas in the 36th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Semail Özbir kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of San Diego FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yusuf Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes San Diego FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Bihar. Yusuf Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Tomas Berganza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yusuf Stegen. The goal made the score 1-3. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Yusuf Stegen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Yusuf Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Talip Ecemiş was slow to take the kick. During this time San Diego FC's players had a chance to rest. Teddy Bourasseau was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Yusuf Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teddy Bourasseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 83rd minute of play forced San Diego FC's goalkeeper Yusuf Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semail Özbir in the 87th minute of play. Abraham Alguacils short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Yusuf Stegen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Mierzejewski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Diego FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Berganza in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yusuf Stegen saved San Diego FC from getting behind. In the 95th minute, Jaroslaw Mierzejewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
