In the 21st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Rau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Donato Di Sipio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talenti Roma Calcio and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Talenti Roma Calcio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Di Sipio to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Talenti Roma Calcio's Jeremias Mark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Mark in the 37th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christophe Rau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 38th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christophe Rau. Christophe Rau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Jeremias Mark sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Venezuela were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christophe Rau having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Mark in the 56th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Mark in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Mikkel Angelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Talenti Roma Calcio. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Talenti Roma Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Di Sipio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Christophe Rau made a huge save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christophe Rau came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Illescas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 78th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mark in the 84th minute of play. Talenti Roma Calcio made a substitution. Fabiano Palmucci replaced Buğrahan Vecih. In the 86th minute of the game Donato Di Sipio made a throw-in which Fabiano Palmucci played forward. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
