After a rather tough play, Argentinos de Bien's Emilio Tonio got a free kick in the 17th minute. Bai Yan Zhen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Bai Yan Zhen slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 18th minute. In the 22nd minute of the game Nicolae Aalexoaiei made a throw-in which Bai Yan Zhen played forward. In the 24th minute, Emilio Tonio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Bai Yan Zhen took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Bai Yan Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Bai Yan Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bai Yan Zhen took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Bai Yan Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play.
